Research Interests

My research interests intend to cover the ecological interactions occurring among marine organisms, in terms of their chemistry, biology and physiology. Much of my work until now has focused on the multidisciplinary branch of chemical ecology and chemical defenses. Now my goal is to widen my research towards the study of the relevance of symbiosis in ecological interactions taking place in marine ecosystems and eventually in the production of allelochemicals for ecological signaling.
